We’re looking for a Senior Quality control Engineer to Develop and lead the quality control team, process, projects, and documentation
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Quality Control team and coordinate their daily activities to ensure optimum planning of resources and a fully motivated competent workforce.
• Develop departmental policies and standard operating procedures as needed to effectively execute the principles and responsibilities of software quality control.
• Contribute to defining the acceptance criteria for business user stories along with the business team.
• Review the baseline design document developed by the Software Designer to ensure that the design complies with the client’s requirements.
• Define proper test methods to be applied to the software.
• Create test plans for new or updated software projects and monitor the systems’ behavior to determine if the software will behave accurately and reliably according to documented requirements.
• Engage in creating the proper test cases for the software.
• Prepare a comprehensive test summary report for each software version for the stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly reports to proffer the accomplished tasks by the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
• At least 3 Years of experience in the software testing field. (MUST)
• Must have a computer science background (computer science graduate or similar field).
• Excellent knowledge of software testing types, principles, processes, testing techniques, and methodologies.
• Familiar with APIs.
• Familiar with compatibility, adaptability, UI/UX testing techniques, and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of the Agile working approach.
• Very good documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communicational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle communicational issues with the team.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good ability to adapt to continuous changes.
