EDECS is currently looking for highly qualified candidates for:

Senior Contracts Engineer

Accountabilities and Duties:
·        Review tender documents and prepare queries and contracutial deviations.
·        Prepare a risk register for the risks identified based on the conditions of contract.
·        Prepare and review agreements required during the pre-qualification and tendering stages.
·        Prepare and review subcontracts, joint ventures and consortium agreements.
·        Prepare and review variation orders, contract addenda and/or amendments.
·        Prepare contractual letters, notices and detailed claims.
·        Ensure company’s compliance with the conditions of contract.
·        Manage the team assisting in the above-mentioned responsibilities.

Qualifications Required:
·        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
·        CLAC or other contracts related coursework.
·        5+ years work experience as a contracts and claims engineer in the construction field.
·        Experience in the administration of contracts with local governmental entities.
·        Excellent drafting skills in both Arabic and English.
·        Knowledge in Egyptian Civil Law, Tenders and Auctions Law no. 182 and related executive regulations.
