Description

Job Purpose

To participate in legal research activities and reporting in order to
ensure effective impact assessment of various laws regulations legal updates or
amendments on bank activities operations and interests. In addition to support
and guiding different banks departments through providing legally sound and
consistent opinion. 

Description

1. Assist in conducting various legal research activities and reporting
   in order to ensure that the impact of laws regulations and various amendments
   is effectively assessed to maintain compliance of various stakeholders and
   safeguard bank interests and legal position
   
   2. Maintain solid knowledge of all relevant laws decrees and regulations that
   govern all banking activities related to his job as well as study and fully understand
   newly issued laws or decrees and assist in the awareness and compliance of all
   Bankdepartments / Branches of such new laws related to his job in order to
   assist in providing solid legal opinions for different departments across the
   bank. 
   
   3. Provide appropriate responses for all questions and inquires raised by any
   of theBank departments /branches in relation to any legal issues 
   
   4. Study and analyse various organizational SOPs and manuals from a legal
   perspective to ensure compliance and alignment to different laws and
   regulations 
   
   5. Address basic legal inquiries received from various stakeholders within the
   organization to ensure the provision of consistent and legally sound advice
   
   Policies Processes and Procedures
   
   6. Implement approved department policies processes and procedures and monitors
   adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
   
   Day-to-day management
   
   7. Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the department to ensure
   compliance with the established standards and procedures
   
   Compliance
   
   8. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations banking laws AML regulations and
   internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIBs sound legal
   position and mitigate any potential risks

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Law

• Registered lawyer in the
  Courts of Appeal at the Egyptian Bar Association.

• At least 3-5 years of
  experience as a lawyer / 6- 8 for Senior lawyer
