You as a Project Manager, will be part of Power Grids business, you will Lead the execution of small Power Grids automation projects and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost or profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

Your Responsibilities

Support the Lead PM in planning, execution, delivering and closing complex projects.

Lead internal and external commissioning teams e.g. plan their missions, coordinate with clients, and ensure highest OHS measures.

Coordinate the site testing and commissioning work with the service teams by preparing detailed planning for client approval

Define, jointly with the Project team, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.

Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.

Constantly monitor and control project financials, oversee project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.

Identify, quantify, and manage risk, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued, while risks are avoided, minimized, transferred, or eliminated.

Oversee and manage the transfer of the site operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.

Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.

Run and lead client and other required meetings.

Initiate, organize and lead regular project review meetings with project team to jointly monitor the progress and control issues even before they surface.

Prepare progress reports for internal and external use.

Identify the factors that influence costs, monitor and report on this data.

Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.

Act as key point of contact for the customer and local service teams.

Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.

Your background

A minimum of 5 years of experience .

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

Hands on Experience in site management, commissioning, or design of substation automation systems

Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Good Ability to deliver a project under time constraints

Willingness to travel internationally as required.
