Principal Engineer, Enterprise Technical Support

Within Dell Services, we are looking for a Principal Engineer -TSE IV to join our remote technical assistance team in Cairo, Egypt, as well as providing telephone and email assistance to our European customers as part of the Dell Global Service Desk.

Key Responsibilities
Applies advanced systems level technical expertise to resolve highly complex systems level customer issues.
Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives.
Accepts escalations from other technical team members as a subject matter expert, shaping group operations with depth of knowledge.
Works closely with Engineering and other technical business units to increase knowledge and resolve customer issues.
Identifies and provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex technical problems.
Mentors others in providing validated technical information, support process instructions and special support requirements.
Essential Requirements
University education, preferably technical degree and/or Microsoft, Cisco, Unix Certifications
Fluency in English
Highly skilled with NAS storage experience in any the following areas
SMB; Windows; Active Directory;
NFS; HDFS (Hadoop);
Networking:; DNS; Performance troubleshooting
Replication & Backup,
Filesystems
Communication skills.
Isilon Scale Out NAS storage
IT Experience 7+ years
Desirable Requirements
Lab or Implementation skills are a bonus
Fluency in languages other than English is a bonus
DELL EMC Proven Professional Certification
