Cost Control Engineer

Job Description:

-Review and analyze all direct and indirect project costs to ensure accuracy and alignment with budget allocations.

-Monitor and control costs associated with client-supplied materials throughout the project lifecycle.

-Track and manage soft costs, including design fees, permits, and consultancy services.

-Oversee cost control of minor subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with contractual and budgetary requirements.

-Assist in the preparation of executive-level commercial reports to provide insights on project financial status and forecasts.

-Prepare and maintain detailed monthly cost reports for ongoing projects, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

Job Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

-Proven experience in cost control within the construction or real estate development industry.

-Proficiency in cost management software and MS Excel.

-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

-Excellent organizational and communication abilities
