Job Responsabilities:

Manage the end-to-end import and shipment process

Forecast shipping rates, transit times, and customs clearance durations; ensure adherence to cost, time, and SLA agreements.

Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.

Track, monitor, and report on the status of all incoming shipments; proactively resolve any delays or discrepancies.

Prepare and review all shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations. Ensure full compliance with all international trade regulations, import/export documentation standards, and customs requirements.

Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound planning and receiving schedules.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international suppliers to ensure optimal cost and value.

Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with key vendors, ensuring consistent quality and service.

Conduct supplier performance evaluations, maintain vendor scorecards, and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Manage and resolve supplier issues or disputes related to quality, delivery, or contract terms.

Job specification:

Bachelor's degree.

Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory; proficiency in a second language is a plus.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in international Logistics and import operations.

Strong knowledge of customs clearance, international shipping procedures, and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Experience in supplier evaluation and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
