Job Responsibility: 

·     Reports to Project Manager and/or Head of Department for implementing specific structural works in accordance with the work program of the project.

·     Organizes and manages the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him/her and provides structural engineering support and/or advice to project teams as required by the Project Manager.

·     Ensures that all structural analysis, designs, drawings, and documents are to the latest codes and standards and in accordance with the Company’s policies, standards, and quality system requirements.

·     Liaises as directed with sub-consultants, other consulting engineers, architects, and other disciplines on all matters necessary for the implementation of the works according to the project program.

·     Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Structural Department Manager.

·     Keeps the Department Manager aware of all technical and administrative matters concerning running projects.

Job Specifications:  

• 12+ years of Experience.
• Develop and review structural designs and perform detailed analysis using advanced engineering software individually or with the team.
• Ensure designs meet safety, durability, and performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Research and apply new technologies to improve design and BIM processes.
• Manage BIM processes and integrate structural designs with other disciplines.
• Resolve coordination issues and ensure effective use of BIM tools.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports and drawings.
• Conduct quality control and implement best practices for structural design and BIM.
• Engineering skills with value engineering basics.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Communicate design solutions and project updates to clients and stakeholders when needed and requested.
• Address design-related concerns and foster strong client relationships when needed and requested.
