Job Description
Al Gioshy Steel is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities:
•Handle both local and international procurement to ensure timely supply of required materials.
•Identify and evaluate suppliers to secure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.
•Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and agreements with vendors.
•Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure cost efficiency.
•Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill procurement needs.
•Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and supplier communications.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (mandatory).
•Previous experience in both foreign and local procurement, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
•Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics is a plus.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
