We are hiring a General Accountant to join our finance team in Cairo, Egypt on a full-time basis.

Location: New Cairo

Reporting to: Accounting Manager / Finance Director

Key Responsibilities:
• Recording journal entries and ensuring proper general ledger posting
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts (e.g., prepaid, accruals, fixed assets, intercompany)
• Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Supporting internal and external audits with required documentation
• Reconciling bank statements and preparing bank movement reports
• Monitoring compliance with internal financial policies and controls
• Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3–5 years of general accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity
