We are a specialized shipping agency providing husbandry services to vessels transiting the Suez Canal and calling at Egyptian ports. Our finance team manages accounts on behalf of shipowners, with a strong focus on auditing, cost control, and financial transparency.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain experience in the maritime industry and develop skills in financial systems such as Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation.
Prepare and support financial reports, cost tracking, and reconciliations.
Post and process journal entries and invoices on finance systems (e.g., Oracle).
Support cost control procedures and internal audits.
Communicate clearly with internal teams and international clients.
Assist in preparing accounts for shipowners and vessel operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
1–2 years of accounting experience (internship experience also accepted).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Very good English communication skills – written and spoken.
Willingness to learn financial systems like Oracle, or similar.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
