Job Title: Design & BIM Mechanical Engineer (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing)

 Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design & BIM Modeling Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, modeling, and coordinating HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems for construction projects, using advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques. This role requires proficiency in mechanical design and applying BIM technologies to deliver efficient, safe, and sustainable systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Mechanical System Design:
Design HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Prepare and review layouts, calculations, and specifications.

Perform load calculations for various systems.

Coordinate with other disciplines (architects, structural, etc.).

Ensure compliance with relevant codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, local regulations).

2) BIM Modeling and Coordination:
Develop and maintain accurate BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar.

Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve conflicts.

Create 3D models, detail drawings, and technical specs.

Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews.

Provide BIM outputs for fabrication, installation, and operation.

 Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.

 Experience:
0–3 years in mechanical system design (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing) within the construction industry.

Proven experience with BIM tools like Revit, AutoCAD MEP.

Solid understanding of mechanical system codes and standards.

 Skills:
Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD).

Strong knowledge of mechanical system design principles.

Excellent communication and teamwork.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Familiarity with tools like HAP, Elite for load calculations.
