Production Engineer

Job Description:

•Ensure the achievement of 100% of the production plan allocated for each line while adhering to predetermined Quality and Safety standards.
•Allocate day-to-day manpower across different functions on the production lines and address any attendance issues promptly.
•Review and monitor production reports, preparing productivity analyses including downtime and efficiency analyses.
•Direct the production process per line and develop production schedules, coordinating closely with the Maintenance department to ensure maintenance schedules do not disrupt production targets.
•Recommend preventive maintenance initiatives to the maintenance team based on machinery performance supervision.
•Oversee the implementation of changeover processes in accordance with the production plan.
•Monitor waste rates and production scrap, analyze root causes, and propose measures to reduce waste.
•Conduct periodic inventory checks to control waste and material usage variances.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering.
•1-3 years of experience as a Production Engineer in the Food Industry.
•Proficiency in written and spoken English, ranging from very good to excellent.
•Experience or background in FMCG is preferred.
