Senior Internal Auditor - elmarakby steel

Elmarakby Steel is a well-established steel company located in 6th of October city, Egypt, committed to international standards and sustainable technology. The current rolling mill plant produces over 250,000 tons of steel rebars per year, and the new melt shop constructed by SMS Group has the capacity to produce 350,000 tons of billets. Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits, writing audit reports, analyzing financial data, and communicating audit findings to management. The Internal Auditor will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

 Responsibilities:

-Participate in the preparation of the annual audit plan to be presented to the Internal Audit Manager for review, based on the conducted risk assessment within their area of responsibility.

-Conduct regular and periodic reviews of various activities and submit reports of findings and recommendations to the management.

Ensure that there are no errors in the processes entered, transferred, and submitted to the direct manager.

-Apply all audit policies and procedures and monitor all related regulatory actions.

-Ensure the proper implementation of internal audit procedures for all sectors and departments within the company.

-Collect data and prepare reports related to strengths, and area of development, to identify deficiencies in policies and implemented systems.

Perform all auditing tasks in financial, operational, and administrative processes and systems to avoid errors and seek accuracy.

-Bachelor's degree in Commerce - Business Administration or equivalent.

-4 to 6 years of experience in the field of internal audit.

-Proficient computer skills and knowledge of accounting software.

-Very good command of the English language.

-Familiarity with industry policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
