Hyde Park Developments is currently hiring Technical Procurement Supervisor Engineer.

Responsibilities:

Receive the RFQ file from the project department to start the packaging phase. 
Purchase all projects and MEP materials (Transformers, MRU, Chillers and ……etc.)
Supervise studying the aspects, BOQ (bill of quantities), drawings and RFQ.
Supervise and monitor issuing the RFQ for Subcontractor/Suppliers for required material.
Follow up with the Subcontractor/Suppliers to receive the offers/quotations.
Compare between vendors’ offers both technically and financially.
Negotiate with subcontractors technically, to ensure the compliance of the offer with all project requirements as mentioned in the RFQ.
Negotiate with supplier /subcontractor to reach the optimum price with the required specifications.
After getting the technical and financial approval from the direct manager regards the offers, make the PO and/or contract with the suppliers/subcontractors.
Follow up on orders placed with suppliers/subcontractors.
Coordinate with the site the on-time delivery.
Follow up on the approval of the materials submitted and mockups with the site.
Keep track of all supplier’s/subcontractor’s performance.
Visit sites, suppliers, and factories regularly and when needed. 
Assist in following up of order/ contract management that includes manufacturing, testing, delivery... etc.
Collect and prepare project close out documents from project related suppliers
Work with other team members to accomplish objectives and the department KPI’s.
Attend meetings, conferences, conventions and seminars necessary to network with others involved in the procurement process (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to improve the Procurement Department function and effectiveness.
Train, coach, and mentor new team members (Junior Procurement Engineers, Trainees).
Help and Guide Junior Procurement Engineers in finalizing their tasks effectively & efficiently to accomplish objectives and the department KPI’s.

Qualifications and Experiences:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
6-8 years of experience in same field.
Knowledge of the Supply Chain.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
High attentiveness to details.
