We are hiring a Senior General Ledger Accountant:

Duties and Responsibilities
 
§ Responsible for managing the month-end closing process, including internal reporting and financial analysis.
§ Assist in the documentation and testing of internal controls.
§ Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
§ Recommends methods and procedures to improve the functioning of the accounting area.
§ Works closely with personnel in other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
§ Develop of internal reports based on management guidance, using experience and feedback from internal customers to suggest improvements and modifications.
§ Responsible for maintaining, reviewing, and inputting the month-end and quarter-end reports.
 
Academic and Experience Qualifications
§ Bachelor degree in Accounting.
§ 5 to 7 years accounting experience with increasing responsibility and at least one year of supervisory experience.
§ understanding of the general ledger functions.
§ Understanding and experience in internal controls and related documentation.
§ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
§ Expertise with reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
§ Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
§ Computer literacy and mastering Microsoft Office package.
§ Proficiency in both Arabic and English language (speaking, reading and writing).
