Role Description

ALEXANDRIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT (AID) is seeking a full-time, on-site Financial Manager for our Construction department, located in Suez.

1. Financial Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in construction accounting practices and knowledge of cost accounting methods used in the industry is highly desirable.

2. Construction Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction industry is crucial to understanding the unique aspects of project financing, cost control, and regulatory compliance within the sector. Knowledge of construction contracts, project management, and construction-specific financial metrics is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial management role
• Experience in the Construction or Real Estate industry is a must
• Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
