Procurement Engineer

* About the Role and its Purpose:
Enova by Veolia is hiring procurement engineer to be responsible for the procurement activities, in terms of Suppliers and Subcontractor’s Sourcing, Contracts overview, specifications, prices, Evaluation, Reports, control and Risk management of all activities.

1.  Assists in managing all the procurement processes, from sourcing, request for quotation, negotiation, scheduling, process purchase orders, arrange for shipment, follow up on orders, delivery control and expediting the materials to ensure on-time delivery.
2. Analyze, comprehend, Negotiates and finalizes contracts with Vendors (suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers) to define project scope, timeline, milestones, and contract terms.
3. Review, Analyze and approve technical data, designs, preliminary specifications and need requests and quantities sent by the Project Execution Department
4. Study and compare received offers/quotations and negotiate on both technical and commercial aspects of products/services.
5. Following up and negotiating with suppliers in all terms and Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among suppliers.
6. Tracks, and reports the progress of all procurement activities to the management.
7.  Evaluate the new and exciting Suppliers and subcontractor’s performance to ensure that their work has been performed as per project quality and specifications requirements.
8. Close follow-up, with technical and commercial functions, of the preparation of the RFPs, RFQs, time schedules, etc.
9. Vendors Approval (Performs vendor List evaluation) by evaluating Vendors’ experiences, capacities, quality, stability, reliability, etc. to prepare comprehensive lists of approved vendors.
10. Prepares, maintains, and reviews procurement files, reports and price lists.

* Core Competencies for this role:
•  Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel.

**Technical / professional qualifications:
• 3 to 5 Years of experience in Procurement with good exposure to Facilities management sector or any other Industry.
• Good experience of Civil/MEP Services & Materials Costing in Egypt.
• MEP project experience as Site Project Execution Engineer in the construction sector is a Plus.
