Senior BIM Mechanical Design engineer dept: -

Job description: -
Senior BIM Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing the production of BIM mechanical design models by using 3D parametric design software, ensuring that strict standards and guidelines are followed to enable automation and visual analysis of construction design projects. The successful candidate will liaise with engineering teams to ensure project BIM requirements are met, leading the BIM input required at various stages of a project lifecycle, and ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of BIM models that meet project specifications and local standards. They will also manage the alignment of models with other disciplines and will work closely with project stakeholders to resolve any design issues.

Job Qualifications: -
Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience, including experience in BIM Modeling and 3D parametric design software, preferably within mechanical engineering and construction projects.
Excellent knowledge of BIM design principles and methodologies.
Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and best practices.
Must be proficient in Autodesk Building Design Suite Software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
Expertise in software such as Magi CAD, AutoCAD MEP, Fabrication CAD mep, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and AutoCAD P&ID is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team.
