Accounts Payable Supervisor - Vodafone

Role Purpose
The candidate for this role is meant to account, review, control & pay for supplier's dues, which are generated from Vodafone procurement cycle either through SCM, direct contract or policy exception items.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:

• Managing and complying VF group requirements and apply all accounting policies and guidelines
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment and abidance by the Egyptian and International accounting standards, as well as local tax obligations
• Responsible of documenting payments process and procedures
• Close supervision on reconciliation of payments with different stakeholders
• Managing staff requirements, including on-job coaching, development and other staff matters through weekly staff and one to one meetings
• Managing and complying VF group requirements and apply all accounting policies and guidelines through develop and implement payments management and plans, including resources, systems, timescales, financials
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes for accounts payable
• Ensure accurate accounting treatment and abidance by the Egyptian and International accounting standards, as well as local tax obligations
• Close Supervision on Reconciliation of all payment KPI’s with VF Group.
• Responsible for payments documentation, process and issuance
• Responsible of delivering all payments methods to vendors/suppliers
• Manage all audit requirements

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Excellent financial accounting background
• Experience in a Telecommunications Environment. (preferred)
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent computer & Microsoft office skills (advanced excel skills is required)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or related field
