A well reputed company in heavy equipment is hiring:
purchasing specialist:
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
· Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
· Ensuring that all procured items meet company policy, required quality standards and specifications.
· Preparing and making daily purchasing activities.
· Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
· Monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues and concerns, negotiating contracts, prices and timelines.
· Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
· Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
· Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Qualifications:-
· Alexandria resident.
· Ability to travel.
· 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment.
· Bachelor degree in business administration or a related field.
· Very good in English.
· Proficiency in Microsoft office and purchasing software.
· Solid experience in heavy equipment.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
· Strong planning and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to work under pressure.
