Job Description

 

  • Work with vendors/contractors to negotiate deals from raw materials to finished products, ensuring getting the best possible price and quality while meeting all of their company’s requirements.
  • Review the project's documentation, including the design plans and execution plans ton ensure proper documentation.
  • Distribute packages containing each item to suppliers / contractors to acquire quotes.
  • Review quotations for the technical and financial aspects of contractors/ supplier's.
  • Release an assignment order or a contract for the subcontractors, keep track of the advance payment's disbursement, and submit the technical submission for the project consultant's approval in collaboration with the technical office.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers on behalf of the company or organization purchasing the product or service.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure that orders/materials are delivered on time.
  • Review requisitions and purchase orders to ensure that they are complete and accurate.
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers after negotiating prices and agreeing on the best payment option and determining the quickest supply period.
  • Oversee the supply of materials to the site and the financial follow-up to issue the cheque to the supplier until the cheque is delivered to him.
  • Follow up with the site and project management regarding the problems raised by the subcontractors to make an attachment to the assignment order if required.
  • Follow up with the project in case of any problems with the supplied materials and resolve them with the suppliers.
  • Prepare weekly follow-up reports.
  • Perform any additional related tasks as assigned.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering (Civil & Architecture).
  • Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience (Construction background is preferrable).
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are required. 
  • Proficiency in Computer programs Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • ERP system background is a Must.
  • Innovative and self-directed 
  • Organized, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence.
  • Work effectively independently and collaboratively in team-oriented environment.
