Financial Controller - Alfa Medical Group

Job Purpose

• Manages accounting records, evaluates, and manages risk, ensures compliance with regulations, publishes financial statements, oversees accounting operations, analyzes financial data, monitors expenditure, forecasts revenue, coordinates auditing processes, and ensures accuracy of financial information.

Technical Accountabilities

• Manages all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Supports month-end and year-end close process and make sure it was done properly and in efficient way.
• Ensure that all financial policy are in place and properly implemented within the Group (Procure to pay, Fixed asset capitalization…etc).
• Manages and complies with local, government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develops and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Prepares month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Communication and working relationships

• Daily verbal/ written/ phone communication with all internal concerned financial managers and CFO.
• Ongoing external communication with partners & agencies.

• Works with the CFO
• Works within defined policies procedures and work processes

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSA's)

• Master's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Advanced degree in accounting
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
