Senior Tax Officer - Azadea Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tax reports and reconciliations prepared by the team. Inspect and review accounting transactions from a tax perspective.
• Conduct data checks, review sample documents, and rectify errors when needed Prepare tax returns for all direct and indirect taxes (Corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, etc.) for the countries in scope and ensure timely filing and payment of all
• Update the team's knowledge of tax regulation and changes in the tax legislation and accounting treatments associated with any change
• assist in the early adaptation of changes in regulation through multiple systems affected in coordination with the technical teams involved
• Liaise with the Regional Tax Team, ABS Tax team, and tax consultants’ subordinates on all tax-related queries to ensure that accurate and timely information is always provided
• Assist Regional Tax Team with the preparation of the documents and reconciliations needed for Tax Audits or Tax Filings done at the Group Level
• Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered and maintained and that internal customers are satisfied by meeting all internal SLAs and by following up on requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree is a plus
• 4-6 Years of experience in accounting and tax compliance, big 4 / large group experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Fluency in English, Arabic, and French is plus
