Site Manager - Marakez

Job Description

• Review package of design and sends to consultant to create the principal design
• Follow up with consultant and replies to any design queries to in- order to complete the principal design before the deadline.
• Receive and reviews the principal design against required technical specifications, then send revised design to consultant for final design.
• Send concept design to vendor list to prepare the detailed drawings and construction package.
• Review shop drawings received from contractors
• Supervises geological surveys performed by consultants on site to ensure probes are in correct positions so readings are accurate.
• Managers site engineers and civil supervisors to ensure that their work load is achieved on time and according to specs.
• Coordinate between different contractors and follows up on construction activities starting from grading works till delivery.        
• Follow up on contractor work and reviews daily reports (resource consumption &progress rates of inspection requests)
• Review time schedule and prepares progress reports and S-curve reports (actual progress vs expected)
• Attend project progress meetings and prepares reports detailing the shortcomings in consultants and/or contactors to present to Construction Manager and Project Manager
• Direct contractors to take necessary corrective actions based on recommendation of Project Manager and Construction Manager
• Prepares technical correspondence on-behalf of project manager and transmits to consultants.
• Supervise work site safety and takes corrective actions in coordination with
  HSE Inspectors when safety protocols are breached.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent is required
• Proficient use and command of computer (office: word-excel-power-point).
• Proficient in using AutoCAD
• Strong conflict resolution/management skillsExcellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent planning skills
