Senior Cost Accountat
 -     Location: - New Cairo
 -     Working Days: - 5 Days & 2 Days off
 
 Job Responsibilities:
· Design / improve cost management process and uses appropriate costing methodologies to recognize, determine, accumulate, and report for costs.
· Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments and maintains files relating to cost accounting system.
· Validate the cost of sales as part of the month-end close.
· Analyzes, examines, interprets accounting data, records and reports to determine past costs, identify improperly recorded costs, and reallocated the cost to ensure they are recorded in the appropriate cost structure.
· Collect relevant data for cost allocation basis from different departments on a monthly basis.
· Oversee expenditure and identify trends in spending and provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center/ profit center results.
· Assists in the development of the company's overall budget document, and at the departmental level, providing advice and analysis to increase the efficiency of the company's spending.
· Assists budget manager by conducting various surveys, research, data analysis, cost-benefit analyses, and expenditure and revenue forecasting.
· Oversees and compares departmental actual expenditures to original budget and gather the explanation for variances.
· Calculate product costs for existing and new products, Prepare report analysis on breakeven points by products.
· Explain and defend recommendations to management and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Budgeting or Accounting,
· 1-3 years of experience involving the analytical research and reporting of complex financial data
· Solid understanding of MS office.
· Sound understanding of accounting principles and Solid cost systems background.
· Excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind
· Task oriented and can meet tight deadlines.
· Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
· The ability to make positive choices and take responsibility for positive and negative outcomes.
· Problem-solving skills and has detailed oriented character
· Outstanding effective communication skills (verbal and written).
