Senior Cost Control Engineer - Orascom Development

• Monitor the budget of all stages of the works and its integration within the overall business plan, update cost estimate during design stage, close monitoring of cash flow during project life cycle.
• Carry out the formulation and implementation of operational objectives and strategies for the project management and technical office functions.
• Analyze and forecast resource requirements as submitted by Contractors with the objective of ensuring projects are effectively and efficiently supported.
• Review of Contractors EOT (Extension of Time) application and time impact assessment of consultant.
• Contribute to management of resources by maintaining and distributing monthly records of project and program budgets, actual spend, and resource utilization forecasts.
• Preparing of summary progress highlights on monthly basis or as required.
• Track project schedule by conducting regular project report reviews, monitoring project costs, cost estimation, cost control and determine areas of delay, risks and issues.
• Review of budgets, actuals, variations and EAC (Expected Cost of Completion) as required, for projects on a monthly and annual basis via the prepared business plan and project forecast.
• Conduct complex analyses of costs & applies value engineering for assigned projects to identify variances, suggest efficiencies, and increase profitability.
• Prepare risk registers in coordination with all internal departments.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Not less than 4 years of Experience.
• Excellent Communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Certification in PMP, CCP, SAP or Oracle is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PPT).
• Languages: Arabic & English fluently spoken and written
