The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of all accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and vendor payments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Processing vendor invoices in a timely manner, verifying that all invoices are accurate and properly authorized.

· Matching vendor invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.

· Reconciling vendor statements to ensure that all vendor accounts are accurate.

· Reconciling bank statements and ensure that all bank statements are accurate against invoices.

· Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving any disputes.

· Processing employee expense reports in a timely manner, verifying that all expenses are properly authorized and in compliance with company policies.

· Assisting with the preparation of the accounts payable aging report and providing this report to the Finance Manager on a monthly basis.

· Assisting with the preparation of the monthly tax forms and audits.

· Maintaining a filing system for all accounts payable documents.

· Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

· 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or related experience.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software such as Odoo.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Good understanding of taxes, such as withholding tax, VAT, payroll tax.
