Structural Design Engineer -  AMO&P

Experience and Qualification:

• 5 -10 years’ experience of working experience in high reputed Consultancy / Design Engineering
• B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable University.
• Deep technical knowledge of Structural Engineering of Building-Type Projects) Hospitals, Hospitality, Residential, Administration buildings, Commercials, Mid and High Rise Buildings & Developments), Environmental (underground) and Steel structures. Carrying out manual calculations. Excellent technical judgment.
• practical experience of design and detailing to American codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, IBC, ASCE, BSC, etc.
• Knowledge of authorities and government regulations in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
• Excellent dealing with Structural Analysis and Design Software and Tools.
• Good experience in structure design to tender (Steel and Concrete).
• Good experience in designing post tension concrete especially with RAM concept software
• Good experience in designing Precast systems
• Experience with Masonry design.
• Good experience in Structure Detailing.
• Optional: Experience in Shop Drawings (RSD, ASD, Aram Cad).

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Structural Design’ Drawings, calculations, structure models, Specifications, and BOQs for a range of projects to assure compatibility with Structural drawings and other trades.
• Coordinate with other departments through the subsequent design stages.
• Create Structural Technical reports for various types of projects.
• Response to contractors’ quires & RFIs to solve technical problems.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise and coordinate with all departments & other trades consultant.
• In addition, the candidate should be a team player with the ability to work as part of a team of experienced engineers and producing high quality, accurate structural designs in a timely manner.

Computer Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SAP, ETABS, STAAD Pro, LIMCON, HILITI, RAM CONNECTION, IDEA STATICA and BIM Experience is a must. Experience with Revit Structures is highly required.
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Optional: Navisworks.
