Executive Financial Analyst - AstraZeneca

Typical Accountabilities:

• Manage and handle processes related to AZ expansion projects (including but not limited to funding (cash flows) management, ongoing tax advices through different phases of the project’s implementation; following up on the related bank requirements for machine related importation till final settlement, acting as key contact for external audit queries related to the capitalization
• Own the inventory/cogs process for one of AZ affiliates and ensure proper recording, measurement, and the effectiveness of the related controls
• Monitor the integration between SAP and Tax portal and fulfill any periodical requirements raised by Tax authority in respect to Tax services digitalization
• Act as a key contact with third parties’ consultants for process reviews to ensure compliance and to remediate any inefficiencies
• Prepare requested analysis as per internal / external audit and Tax inspection requirements
• Assist in tax preparation for filing related activities
• Act as a key contact with Global Finance Services (GFS) in remediating P2P related issues
• Assist in the implementation of tools and projects related to controlling activities
  
  

Qualifications / Experience needed:

• BS degree of accounting
• +6 years Accounting experience. Big four experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical thinking skills
• Problem solving skills
