for a big Project (Sports Club)
Planning and Cost Control Engineer
Responsibilities
Generate Project charts and cost reports.
Handle cost engineering functions involving budget preparation, cost control, forecasting and cost reporting.
Monitor detailed construction project cost and cash flow reports.
Support forecast of time and cost problems by offering trending information.
Handle resource planning, milestone coordination and schedule tasks.
Develop and update cost and resource loaded construction schedules.
Submit monthly reports to Project Manager and support internal reports preparation.
Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates.
Prepares cash flow, charts and histograms on planning projects.
Verifies critical path and interfaces between design / engineering / procurement / execution.
Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning.
Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team.
Prepares the monthly progress reports.
Prepares the monthly labor histograms.
Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning.
Schedules, plan and oversees the entire program of work.
Plan, organize, and coordinate planning activities.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in planning and cost control.
Adaptability and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera and computer literate.
Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement.
