Senior Site Architect - Constructive

Responsibilities

o Share the review & evaluation of Arch. design packages for constructability and integrity.

o Lead issuing the review reports for design packages received from the Client when needed.

o Lead and guide the site supervision team and follow-up their full understanding and compliance with approved Contractor’s submittals.

o Coordinate with other technical office disciplines team & site team to ensure full coordination resulting in the projects running efficiently.

o Coordinate with Project Controls team for assessing relevant Contractual submittals (Claims, VOs, …. etc.)

o Review and approve Contractors technical submittals (Shop drawings, MARs, Samples, RFIs, …. etc) along with on-site and off-site materials, samples & products inspections for consultant approval.

o Coordinate and follow-up with the Client PM/Design managers for all issues pending Client’s approval and/or feedback.

o Request and attend technical meetings with Contractors when needed.

o Develop, implement and highlight cost efficiency solutions for the Client pertaining finishing and fit-out scope of work.

o Lead and guild the junior Architects and follow-up their work activities.

o Observe, Inspect & approve contractors' site activities submittals including but not limited to; inspection requests, MIRs …. etc.

o Managing the works execution on site & preparing performance data information.

o Coordinate with Contractors to ensure the projects are running efficiently.

o Report & take action regarding noted quality deviations by Contractors.

o Inspection Contractors’ site activities & compare the compliance with Contract specifications.

o Follow-up of Contractors’ work progress and highlight any nonconformance with the Contract design documents.

o Review Contractors’ submitted progress reports related to Arch. scope of works and share the data collection for preparing the Client’s periodical reports.

o Issue snag lists & punch lists and follow-up further rectification.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience

EMAAR projects Experience is a plus

Alexandria Residents is a plus
