"RAQMU for building & Construction" one of DKS group located in Nasr City is hiring:
Mechanical technical office engineer:
Will be responsible for:
·    Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence…etc. to take into consideration all the project details
·     Prepare all required shop drawings and achieve required approvals.
·     Prepare all required calculations and achieve required approvals.
·     collect all required samples from procurement and achieve required approvals.
·     Prepare RFIs and send them to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts.
·     Communicate with concerned departments to prepare the general procurement plan.
·     Prepare a monthly procurement and financial plan to determine the site needs for the upcoming month.
·     Conduct estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that need to be purchased or procured.
·     Conduct the quantity surveying process to prepare required invoices.
·     Prepare the subcontractors’ and client’s invoices based on the progress report sent by the site engineer.
·     Prepare and follow up the Variation Orders and prepare Notice to Claim in cooperation with the Contracts team.
·     Prepare periodical reports such as Quantity Executed Invoices and send them to the concerned departments in the headquarters.
·     Prepare in Tendering projects.
·     Prepare in cost break down for project items.
·     Prepare the construction method statements.
 
Requirements:
·      A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least three (3) years of experience as a technical office engineer is required for consideration.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent Command of Arabic & English language.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD.
Experienced in developing Finishing shop drawings.
Ability to work on tight deadlines.
Revit is a plus
