Design Engineer - City Edge Developments

Role

The Design Engineer will assist the team across all design stages.

Key Accountabilities

Design alignment plans and preparing construction-ready plans, details, and calculations for installation

Perform site visits to perform job scoping and coordinate with subconsultants

Evaluate design alternatives to solve constructability and site challenges

Create and maintain project documentation related to project design and development

Responsible for designing, creating and testing new products

Play a role in new developments conceptual idea generation

Support in proposing product mix & products specifications

Manage design consultants and ensure design deliverables are in accordance with scope, schedule and budget

Review all design deliverables & approve construction cost

Coordinate with all other department’s teams concerning new & ongoing developments.

Working Conditions

Office Based role with normal working conditions and normal physical effort. Does not require international travel.

Necessary Experience

3-5 years of related experience of which a minimum of 1 year in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry. 

Previous experience in real estate is preferred

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
