Job Description
We are looking Finance Manager reporting to CEO
Key Accountabilities
Budgeting, Planning, and Control
• Partner with Senior Management and key stakeholders to develop firm budgets and forecasts including preparing detailed split by
departments, devising right capital allocation methodologies, obtaining alignment from key stakeholders including the BoD, and proactive monitoring of results / variance against the approved budgets.
• Advise the CEO, Board of Directors and nominated Committees, as
appropriate, on important financial and audit related issues requiring
relevant attention and approvals
Treasury Management
• Develop, execute, and deliver targeted treasury and risk management
solutions to effectively maximize earnings potential whilst minimizing
volatility and risk exposure
• Oversee treasury responsibilities at Sub-HoldCo level, including
maintaining optimal cash & liquidity positions at all times, managing risk exposures, building optimal capital structure & overseeing other areas
• Evaluate and forecast the firm's funding and cash requirements at all
times
Accounting Operations
• Oversee the overall framework for financial accounting & bookkeeping to ensure adherence to internal policy and external standards and in line with the overall firm strategy
• Ensure the accurate and timely production and distribution to internal & external stakeholders of financial statements & MIS reports to ensure alignment with firm wide financial objectives
• Lead day-to-day financial accounting related operations to ensure
accuracy and timeliness in operations and compliance with standards (incl. designing efficient processes, defining SLAs, and
deploying monitoring mechanisms to measure performance vs. SLAs)
Credit Monitoring
• Oversee the management of the firm’s debt profile to ensure timely
debt recovery and take appropriate action to recover where necessary
People
• Lead, develop, and motivate the team to retain talent for business
success
• Promote, develop, and attract exceptional talent and capabilities that
are proficient in all relevant finance and accounting concepts (through
experience / training e.g., CFA)
Risk, Compliance & Control
• Ensure that the company complies with financial accounting/reporting best-practices
likelihood of financial risks
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degrees in related fields such as Finance
• Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CPA, CMA, CA) is required
Experience
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in progressively more complex roles within the finance function of leading regional / global firms.
