Market Manager - Hitachi Energy
Your responsibilities
- Order intake and profit: Driving sales to achieve or exceed order intake as per the agreed budget keeping in mind of profitability, product mix & geography mix.
- Customer relations: Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product or solution or services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Sales plans: Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Budget preparation: Using company tools, prepare the budget for the responsible area.
- Marketing & Campaigns: Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
- Risk review process: Running risk reviews of the projects as per the company defined trigger levels. Identifying the risks and proposing the mitigation plan.
- Deal closing: Communicating proposals & contract details in line with BU strategy. Creating value, engaging with tendering team and collaboration with FES and other internal stakeholders.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 7 to 8 years of experience in substation or switchgear business.
- Strong Egyptian market knowledge and customer network.
- Proven communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to be an excellent team player and have customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
