”Procurement Specialist”
Responsibilities:
– Searching for new suppliers locally & internationally.
– Source, select & negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, delivery terms & services with suppliers within a competitive attitude.
– Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements.
– Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings.
– Analysing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
– Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records.
– Follow up & reply to all purchasing queries.
Requirements:
– B.S degree in Engineering.
– Requires at least 2-3 years of Work experience in a related field
– Requires a working knowledge Observation of all safety and health requirements for the container terminal environment.
– Knowledge of technical/functional aspects of work.
