Lafarge Egypt is hiring: Treasury Lead

Responsibilities:

Cash and FX Management
· Manages the availability of cash to cover day to day operational and commercial needs and supervises the transactions performed by the payment team.
· Controls and manages daily cash position, identifying immediate FCY & local currency needs to meet the companies needs and act accordingly.
· Coordinates with the group (CFT) regarding cash flow and working capital forecasts submissions. In addition to managing Group loans renewals and requests.
· Negotiate and monitors agreed FX transaction deals on Lafarge E-Treasury suite to ensure accurate and effective reporting of FX deals.
· Identifies & analyzes currency risk exposures and hedge FX risks; ensures best FX pricing and handles the FWD/SWAP deals.
· Prepares cash forecasts and treasury reports required by Group or management.

Bank Relationships & Funding
· Manages the dialogue between banks and companies during facilities renewal and ensures proper reflection of company’s data. Shares and clarifies the company’s financial statements to banks and must obtain full understanding of them.
· Negotiates with various banks regarding funding to ensure receiving the best market prices and tariffs.
· Recommends changes to debt structure & currency balances.
· Keeps updated with banks’ latest technology products (e-banking).
· Supervises day to day banking operations for Country Entities.
Trade
· Supervises the preparation of documentation needed for Letters of Credit/Letters of Guarantees and ensures bank endorsement.
· Monitors the payments’ due dates to avoid late settlements. Manages the renewal of L/Gs before expiry.

Month End Closing Activities
· Conducts month end closing activities while adhering to timelines
Internal and External Audit
· Provides internal and external audit requirements as requested while adhering to deadlines.
Other
· Ensures compliance with Group Internal Control Standards and Group Treasury policies and procedures.
· Leads improvement projects related to Treasury.
Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety legislation and policies; ensure highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.

Education:
Bachelor degree in business, economics, finance or accounting.

Technical Skills:
Financial analysis skills

Experience:
5+ years of corporate banking experience
Credit Course, CTP is a plus
