Al-Tawakol for Steel Fabrication and Galvanization is looking for

Vacancy: Planning Manager - Location: 10th of Ramadan
Report to: Supply Chain Manager

Part of the duties:
Create a Raw Materials schedule Plan based on Production schedule.
Revise the forecast orders and firmed sales order of Finished goods to determine the Requirements of Raw Materials department.
Maintain a valid Raw Materials and capacity requirements plan that supports the production schedule.
Monitor the execution of Raw Materials plan and resolve any potential issues.
Ensure that the Raw Materials deliveries are performed on time via purchasing department.
Monitor the consuming of the raw materials on daily basis, follow up the raw materials consumptions rates.
Manage the schedule in and schedule out process of Raw Materials according to the production orders requirements.
Ensure a consistent handoff of planning information to the production department and Finished Goods section head to take the necessary action based on the information if required.
Investigate the Raw Materials Purchasing issues and production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions
Identify and manage bottlenecks and capacity issues with the Production Management team and Purchasing team, co-ordinate internally and externally the resolution of the issues.
Establish and monitor ERP system parameters, including safety stock levels for Raw material inventories.
Assist all the new product development and improvement in all existing products with the concerning departments and ensure optimal Raw Materials inventory level at all times.
Revise The Raw Materials Plan based on the production schedules when required due to design changes, material shortages, backlogs and collaborating with management, Purchasing and production departments
Supervise of inventory stock levels.
Assist Purchasing department to Identify new suppliers and manage existing suppliers to meet production needs.
Communicate Raw Materials status to the Purchasing, planning, Sales and Production Managers on regular basis.
Ensure that the KPIs of the planning department achieved
Other responsibilities and account abilities as assigned by the General Director.
Create reports and statistics regularly (daily, monthly, and annual).
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering filed
Operations Management diploma
Experience: in a technical field at least 5-7 years of experience
Knowledge of Intuitive ERP, or other MRP/ERP systems.

Experience working within an ISO quality plan is an asset.
Strong planning, organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal-communication skills.
Understanding of and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
