Martico Reefer Solutions, an international company specialized in Freight Forwarding is hiring the following position in New Cairo, Egypt
Financial Controller
Brief Description of the position
He/she will be the link between Finance, Commercial and Management of the company
He/she will be the person in charge of interpreting the business through numbers, with high analytical skills that allow him/her to quickly detect trends, risks and anomalies, as well as to make predictions based on the data in order to make quick and timely decisions. In the same way, it is necessary for this profile to be a proactive and highly organized person, given that he/she will have to design analysis models, as well as analyze the internal flows of the company itself, propose improvements and efficiencies, etc. Therefore, it consists of a profile that brings added value to the company from the analysis of the data, processes, and the design and reporting of the information it handles.
Duties and responsibilities:
·Analysis of the company’s key indicators with the objective of designing a Balanced Scorecard for Management.
·Design Balanced Scorecard for Management.
·Monthly reporting of the Balanced Scorecard for Management.
·Collaboration and support to Accounting Department in the accounting closings.
·Report accounting closings to the Head Office, and other information that may be requested.
·Design other reports for other areas of interest of the company (Commercial, Operations,…).
·Analysis and control of expenses and design of expense reports by department for such control.
·Calculation of direct and indirect costs, with the objective of obtaining unit profitability and detailed analysis of profitability by operation.
·Other “ad-hoc” analysis (investment analysis, productive efficiency analysis, etc.).
·Control of the company’s Treasury and search for cash flow efficiencies.
·Collaboration with other Departments for specific analyses.
·Collaboration with the Group’s Head Office for specific analysis and design of new tools.
·Collaboration with the Accounting Department for tax management, external Audit and preparation of the Annual Accounts.
Qualifications/skills required for the same:
o Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics or similar.
Master’s Degree in Financial Management, Financial Analyst, Advanced Finance or similar (preferred).
Good academic record.
Very Good level of English.
o Competences and skills:
High Excel skills.
Knowledge and management of databases.
Knowledge of ERPs system.
Valuable knowledge of BIs (Business Intelligence Software).
Analytical capacity.
Proactivity.
Communication skills.
Team player.
Efficient and productive person.
Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
Freight Forwarding &/or Shipping background (Must).
