Senior Architecture Engineer - Site - Marakez
Job Description
Produce designs for buildings and other building projects in accordance with a brief or specification.
Prepare detailed drawings, design specifications, and submit them for approval by relevant planning authorities.
Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
Set out, level and survey the site.
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems if they arise.
Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications and planning and scheduling changes and recommending actions.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Check the quality of all materials received on site and prepare quality reports about any defects.
Ensure the compliance of work done with the specified requirements and standards of the specifications.
Provide overall supervision and coordination of General Foreman areas of responsibilities and the allocation of work areas.
Follow-up to ensure execution of work is carried out in accordance with approved method statements.
Follow-up with General Foreman on the efficient usage of materials to minimize wastage, and supervise materials storage area.
Coordinate and monitor subcontractors on their daily construction activities and their obligations and liaison with subcontractors.
Oversee all finishing activities such as block work, plastering, false ceiling, gypsum walls, painting, tiling, marble works, parquet flooring and landscaping.
Monitor the finishing of buildings and service facilities on site.
Job Requirements
