Jadeer Group seeking to recruit position of ” Senior Procurement Engineer ”

Purpose of the job:

The Senior Procurement Engineer oversees the procurement or purchasing of technical goods and services in order to provide effective and efficient services to meet the needs of the company for its on-going construction projects.

Duties:

1- Know about the equipment, materials, and supplies used in the industry and their suppliers.

2- Evaluate new and existing suppliers and subcontractors and negotiates purchase agreements with them.

3- Prepare cost analysis sheet.

4- Procure equipment, materials, and systems complying with the project quality and specification requirements.

5- Challenge existing suppliers to recommend more cost effective and/or more reliable products that will improve our competitive position. Assist in the evaluation and coordination of these recommendations.

6- Develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.

7- Maintain company reputation and credibility by fair dealings and prompt payment.

8- Conduct vendor evaluation and registration.

Job Requirements

– Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering.

– From 5 to 10 years of experience in same field.

– Market knowledge in sourcing of materials and services.

– Good understanding of supply chain procedures

– Hands-on experience with purchasing software

Work Environment:

– Location : 5th settlement

– Working hours: 09:00 to 05:00

– Day off: Friday
