Al-Shams for Contracting is a leading construction company in Egypt is
seeking the following position:
Electrical Tender Engineer
Job Description
• Study all tender documents
• Prepare a project brief
• Prepare and compile the BOQ in accordance with Tender instructions
• Compare and contrast between tender specifications and drawings
• Attend tender site visit and prepare report
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for offer
• Comparative analysis between different offers
• Negotiate and reach agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
• Compile a list of suppliers and subcontractors categorized with remarks, history and reliability
• To be the company’s internal contact point for the client during the inquiry and bidding
• Present the company during any phase of the tendering and bidding process
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree of electrical engineering
3-6 years of experience
Experience of dealing with complex tenders
Ability to work under pressure
Very good skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD ,Shop drawing
Good command of the English Language (Written and Spoken)
Time management and abiding by strict deadlines
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent Organization Skills
Excellent negotiation skills
