Senior Payroll Accountant - TMF Group

About the role

Supports colleagues in the provision of a high-quality accounting service, including the preparation of data, and acting as the primary day to day contact for the provision of those services, to meet stakeholders’ expectations

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the importance of revenue, productivity, chargeability and the client relationship and effectively apply this understanding to daily tasks Collaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategies
• Maintains accuracy of payroll data
• Escalate client/work issues to Supervisor/Manager 
• Maintains accuracy of payroll data

• Assist other members of the team as appropriate
• Set up new hires or employee transfers and compiles payroll data
• Maintains statistical payroll information for use in decision making and expense control
• Support clients with service delivery matters
• Attend client meetings, as required
• Prepare client work in accordance with procedures
• Work with clients to ensure required data is received in good time
• Prepare and submit approved returns, submissions, accounts, reports etc. as applicable

Key Requirements 

• 2+ years full payroll administration experience and studying towards a recognized payroll or commercial qualification
• Thorough knowledge on payroll processing, deductions and regulatory submissions
• Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, coordination and organizational skills
