Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
– Must have experience working in a contracting company.
– Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
– Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
– Presentable and can work under pressure.
– Advanced MS Excel skills.
– Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
– Experience with financial analysis & reports.
– Experience with creating financial statements.

Job Responsibilities:
– Manage all accounting transactions.
– Prepare budget forecasts.
– Publish financial statements in time.
– Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
– Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
– Ensure timely bank payments.
– Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
– Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
– Audit financial transactions and documents.
– Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
– Maintain an up-to-date billing system.
– Generate and send out invoices.
– Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
– Monitor customer account details for non-payments delayed payments and other irregularities.
