About the job

Description

The main purpose is to support the company's commercial and strategic functions and goals through delivery of accurate and insightful analysis, indicating profitable vs unprofitable ventures and recommending areas of focus to enhance overall profitabilities.

Job Responsibility

Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

  • Allocate costs by activity type to tariffs, products, activities, customer tenure and channels and run activity based costing to have a model presenting usage, acquisition, management and retention activities
  • Produce overall company profitability in addition to segment ones, supporting strategic decisions. Together with identifying inefficient products, services or tariffs and discussing findings with owners
  • Provide profitability by technology (2G/3G/4G) to be discussed with CTO & CFO influencing future investment decisions.
  • Manage stakeholders in all functions, technology/customer care/ commercial/ finance for costing drivers input and results alignment.
  • Have regular meetings with CFO, CTO, CCO as main stakeholders together with pricing and decision support to present findings and recommendations.
  • Responsible for all communication with group concerning cost to carry costs, used in all major technology cases evaluation for Egypt
  • Responsible for Balance Sheet and Cash Flows budgets with their accompanying analysis.
  • Carries responsibility of costing/profitability integrity upon which important pricing/market decisions are made.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Solving problems and effectively supporting decision making
  • strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft ppt.

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in finance
  • Financial, commercial and accounting background

Key Performance Indicators

  • Accurately prepare costing runs for segment/product/technology within set deadlines, while providing proper analysis for all changes.
  • Timely accurate budget cycles submissions and analysis for balance sheet, cash flow and group costing.
  • On time costing updates upon need for any major case.
