Sales Manager  - NOV

Job Description

To oversee and manage the Downhole operation in country. The base of the operation is Cairo. however, travel throughout the country or rigs in the region will be required. The position will encompass Operations, Sales, Admin and Service. The position holder maintains a close working relationship with all managers and supervisors within the NOV Downhole organization. The position holder must also provide "hands-on" support to all departments and actively promote client interface, adherence to NOV policies and procedures and service quality.

• Fully Accountable for the Egypt Downhole business and help other Wellbore Technologies businesses.
• Ensures highest standards of HSE
• Grow Sales and maximize revenue and Profit
• Plans to maximize utilization
• Ensure service quality is continually enhanced. Develop and motivate his staff to ensure consistently high standards of performance and effectiveness.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Actively promotes HS&E. Post HSE & TRIR statistics at each facility.
• Accountable for the effectiveness and profitability of NOV Downhole Business.
• Supports as required other NOV Downhole locations
• Supports Customer contact, support and liaison.
• Manages Service Staff utilization, Customer feedback, Client requirements.
• Authorizes Company expenses in accordance with policy
• Ensures that NOV policies are enforced and followed
• Develop, implement and maintain standards, procedures and training to satisfy company QA requirements and client expectations,
• Acts in the interest of the company at all times,
• Train, motivate and develop staff to ensure continual high standard of performance. Manages departments has effective control of personnel including implementation of Company policies regarding timekeeping, holiday planning, performance reviews and disciplinary procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, oil & Gas or equivalent

Experience

• Required P&L experience, 5 years O&G drilling back ground, service and maintenance exposure will be a plus.
• Previous Experience in Egypt market is a must
