Job Description
For leading distribution company in Alexandria is hiring :
1. Purchasing manager
• Build purchasing strategy with CEO
• Managing daily purchasing activities.
• Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
• Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation. • Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
• Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
• Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
Qualifications
• Proven working experience as Purchasing Manager, Agent or Officer
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
• Working experience of vendor management business to business industry
• Ability to gather and analyses data and to work with figures
• Solid judgement along with decision making skills
• Strong leadership capabilities
• BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
