7+ years experience
Gulf Experience preferred

The Architect plans and coordinates construction-project development; review construction-project plans and specifications for technical content and accuracy; perform related work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities have been determined to be essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Development of design presentation drawings and documents
- Development of design phase deliverables
- Development of submittal documents to local authorities
- Assisting the team in responding to construction phase RFI and design clarifications

A. Monitors and evaluates the quality of planning, design and construction activities, vendors, designers and contractors to assure the work is in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards.
B. Advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
C. Conducts periodic external audits of design A/E’s and Construction Contractors to evaluate conformance to contract documents
D. Monitors and assures that contractibility, maintainability, and value engineering are incorporated into the project during all phases of planning, design and construction
E. Review of preliminary project design concepts and schematics; drawings and specifications; calculations; alternatives and value engineering
F. Monitoring construction / implementation for conformity with approved design, including detailed scheduling and co-ordination, management of inspections, administration of construction changes.
G. Perform other duties as assigned. Performs all other duties, tasks and initiatives contributing to the success of the team and UNii Engineering Consultancy

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Architect must be able to meet these minimum qualifications to successfully fulfill the essential responsibilities and accountabilities of the position.
- Specific tasks will be assigned by the general manager which may include coordination, review, and any other task necessary to support the project team.
- Development of presentations and documents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
