Location Danone Farm – Nubareya (Alex-Cairo Desert Road)



As a Financial Controller you will play a very strong role in the day to day management of the farm through an effective & financially sound decision making working closely with finance management in Danone Egypt & farm operations, providing leadership & management proximity to employees on site, & close monitoring of the daily operations & spending in addition to rolling forecast & planning ensuring a high level of efficiency & effectiveness of the farm performance

About The Job

• Development & preparation of the farm budget, financial estimates & strategic plans P&Ls, OFCF & Capex requirements.
• Developments of different models & scenarios for cows & milk evolutions & share models with Zone for Group farms developments
• Development of the actual P&Ls, Balance Sheet, Operating Free Cash Flow (OFCF) analyzing results & variances vs. budget & estimates, identifying & reporting gaps with action plans to ensure agreed on targets are fully met.
• Managing the farm Capex budget (preparing Capex authorization, payback analysis, tracking spending vs. approved Capex) to ensure adequate management of the Capex budget.
• Responsible for the inventory of all farm assets (biological stocks, feeds, milk & vaccination, etc.); physical counts, tracking & recording of movements including the accounting treatments.
• Key support of the daily management of the farm & the decision making.
• Develop, implement & track farm KPIs with operations (daily, monthly & yearly)
• Key support to the SSD in the material planning, supplier’s negotiations & searching (meanly feed suppliers).
• Responsible for the daily accounting functions & treatments in the farm (A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Inventories, Petty Cash, & G/L) including reconciliations & physical counts.
• Responsible for the control’s developments the implementation of controls with Internal Control manager & the finance team.
• Managing the annual external audits with DE Accounting Manager.

About you

About You

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting major, MBA/CMA is a plus.
• SAP Background is preferable
• Targeted profile Required between 5 to 8 years of experience with financial controlling background
